Bridge of Ord coast print, Isle of Skye illustration
Bridge of Ord coast print, Isle of Skye illustration
The Scottish highlands and islands are where I'm happiest - and as a result, where I do most of my 'out and about' sketching. I've created a series of prints taken from and inspired by my travels up there.
Bridge of Ord is an absolutely beautiful little place on the Sleat Peninsula on the Isle of Skye. On this day in particular, I was completely alone all day, just scrambling along the rocks trying to find a spot to draw which didn't completely numb my bum from just sitting and absorbing the atmos all day. Needless to say I found one and IT. WAS. PERFECT. A little porpoise was mooching about in the bay so I decided to include it!
